Happy New Year from Oxbow Academy!

This beautiful picture captures a breath-taking moment of some of our mares running with the stallion. As a new year begins our thoughts turn to resolutions and change. In the equine program, the beginning of a new year brings us closer to spring, summer, warmer weather and our favorite part- new foals. We have already bred mares and are anticipating two foals come May. These babies will be an integral part of Oxbow’s imprinting program which aids in teaching students about positive touch, trust and building healthy relationships. Along with the growth of our Equine program we are anticipating some exciting other new things this year: celebrating our 10 year anniversary, and beginning stages of expansion of our program! We have a fantastic team on board with amazing ideas to keep us constantly improving and helping our families we are privileged to work with. What are some of your New Years resolution? With the New Year here in Utah comes with the continued visit of the winter wonderland. Our students are able to build snowmen, play in the snow, help clear the walk ways, and even get a chance to go up to Sundance Ski Resort. Pictures to come of our fun ski and snowboarding adventures.

Do you wanna build a snowman? Lots of snow means snowman building time for both of our houses.
