These young men are learning to recognize all the many things that they have that are truly special and appreciate them every day of their lives. And that is a lesson that will keep on giving.

Throughout the United States the Spirit of Thanksgiving is brought to the front of our minds during the month of November. It is a time that we are reminded of all the many blessings we have in our lives.

Here at Oxbow Academy it is no different. Gratitude – A Lesson That Keeps On Giving. As the boys gather for the festivities of Thanksgiving they have the opportunity to talk about the many things that they are grateful for and the traditions of their family during this Season. When listening to the discussions going around the tables, that they have decorated for this special occasion, you hear talk of Family, Friends, Freedom and Second Chances. These young men are learning to recognize all the many things that they have that are truly special and appreciate them every day of their lives. And that is a lesson that will keep on giving.
