About
I began working in the mental health field in 2002, supporting clients with a wide range of presenting concerns, including mental health disorders, sexual addiction and compulsive behaviors, substance use disorders, and family systems challenges. My experience spans residential treatment settings, including therapeutic communities, where I have worked with both adolescents and adults of all genders.
Over the years, I have served in a variety of roles, including mentor, shift supervisor, correctional officer, program director, psychotherapist, and assistant clinical director. In total, I have been practicing as a psychotherapist for 14 years. My clinical work includes serving diverse populations with a range of disorders and concerns, including sex-specific issues.
Outside of my professional life, I have been married for 31 years and am the parent of four children and grandparent to eight grandchildren. I value time with my family and enjoy weightlifting, running, and competing in 5K races. I also enjoy camping, hunting, fishing, horseback riding, and working on my hobby farm. I am actively involved in my faith and community and am deeply passionate about helping others. I find great fulfillment in meeting people where they are, supporting their growth, and helping them stay on a prosocial path toward recovery and a more meaningful, fulfilling life.
