Why Specialized Treatment

In programs that are not sex-specific, students with sexual issues are reluctant to participate in group or individual therapy. They fear being judged by their therapist or ostracized by their peers. Oxbow’s culture of honesty and accountability provides each student with a safe environment in which to openly address his struggles.

Oxbow students are all privately placed through educational consultants, family, or legal advisors. In some cases, families of students facing pending legal issues have been allowed by the courts to make treatment decisions with the understanding the court will relinquish authority if treatment is successfully completed.

If you would prefer to discuss your situation with a counselor, we invite you to call an admissions counselor, at 855-676-4272.
