Oxbow Academy Honors Heather Hansen
Heather Hansen is a Licensed Practical Nurse. She also has a National Healthcare Administrators license. She attended school in San Bernardino, California.
Heather was drawn to working at Oxbow Academy because Oxbow has a strong reputation in the healing community. Helping other people has always been important to Heather. That is why she decided to become a nurse. For the past 15 years, Heather has worked in nursing. Heather’s experience, compassion, and skills earned her positions in a variety of leadership roles.
Heather likes working for Oxbow because each day she is busy and able to work closely with students, families, and the doctors in the community. She tracks and monitors students to ensure they are as healthy as possible. Heather is deservedly proud of her nursing career as a whole.
“Nursing is not just my job, it is who I am as a person. I have always wanted to be a really strong nurse,” said Heather.
Heather wants parents to know that the health and well-being of our students is the most important part of her job. She works hard to get to know each of the students individually.
“The more that I can learn about the students, the better I will be able to provide the best health care for them,” said Heather.
Oxbow Academy is grateful to Heather for her genuine compassion and eagerness to help others. Because of Heather’s compassion, leadership skills, and experience she is an excellent addition to the Oxbow Academy family.
