Brita and Tony North – Equine Director

Equine Directors

Brita and Tony North are our very own Equine Directors

With 16 active program horses and 4 more backup horses, we have a lot to handle in the Equine Department! As you can see from our Experiential Campus, Equine Therapy, and the horses are a large part of what we do. Brita and Tony North are an integral part of this successful program; we really could not do it without them!

Brita North – Equine Director

Brita was born in Provo, Utah and raised in Salem, Utah. After high school, she attended two years of college and moved around teaching riding lessons. She is Level2 EAGALA (Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association) trained.

She loves being able to share her passion for horses and the opportunity to use them for teaching.
She has been with Oxbow since they opened in 2006.

She is happily married to her soul-mate, they have two beautiful children. If she could do
anything in the world she would ride horses, go fishing and watch Oklahoma football.
