His experience ranges from working as a therapist in addiction recovery to at-risk youth in long term secure care with the Juvenile Justice Services.

Troy loves working with adolescents. “I believe that they are insightful and need positive connections with people that care and are often more honest than adults,” he explained. “Adolescents can find solutions to their struggles if they have guidance from an adult that they can trust. The younger that people get help, the more quality of life you can help them attain.”

His strengths are building rapport with his students and families and running insightful group therapy. His focus of modality is CBT, Motivational Interviewing, DBT, ACT. His goal is to help families find healing and purpose in their lives.
