Matt Call, LMFT, RPT, CSAT, NOJOS Credentialed – Therapist

Therapist

Matt’s unique ability to work with complex families adds depth to our therapy team. He attended Brigham Young University and is a Marriage and Family Therapist. Matt’s primary focus throughout his career has been working with teenagers which comes naturally to him. Matt’s focus of modality is Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and his background is working with kids in the juvenile justice system. He is currently falling madly in love with experiential and sandtray therapy to use especially with students on the spectrum (Autistic Spectrum Disorder). Since he is trained in functional family therapy, his theoretical perspective is very systemic which leaves him to be highly skilled working with complex family systems. He constantly is looking for patterns and dynamics to better help the family system.  He finds the unique setting at Oxbow fulfilling and enjoyable. Matt has never worked for an organization where he has felt so well supported and connected to the clinical team. He loves the collaboration that occurs between clinicians and the level of experience and patience provided to students. Having grown up in Utah, Matt loves the outdoors and is an avid hiker. At home, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter. He also loves to read, write, listen to music and go to the theater.
