Brittany has been a valuable therapist to our clinical team, with her ability to connect easily with our families, patient personality and her attention to fine detail. She attended Southern Utah University for her bachelor in Human Development and Family Studies with an emphasis in Family Services and attained her Masters of Social Work at the University of Utah, College of Social Work. She has worked at Wasatch School district managing at-risk youth cases and helping them to be successful in school, home and social spaces. She has also worked at Utah Valley Regional hospital working on the Neuro, Shock, and Trauma ICU which allowed her to become very proficient at handling crises, and working under pressure to help patients that arrived on the floor. Her real love came when she worked at another Residential Treatment Center with students on the spectrum, who she has a natural ability and skill set to work with. Her patience and ability to help her students feel comfortable and laugh allow her to work very well with our students and families at Oxbow Academy.
Brittany grew up in North Sanpete, right near Oxbow Academy, and is very excited to be close to home and reconnecting with her roots. She enjoys spending time reading, learning to do new things, hiking, spending time with her husband and family. We are excited to have her as part of our Clinical Team!
