Teri R. Beamish
Teri was born in Salt Lake City, Utah. Her family moved to Mt. Pleasant when she was 1 1/2 years old and her family has never left the area. Teri Graduated from North Sanpete High School and then attended Snow College, majoring in Computer Information Systems. She then worked for the LDS church as a computer technician for 13 years. Teri then moved back to Mt. Pleasant and began working in the family real estate business which she did full-time for six years. Teri started working at Oxbow Academy as a mentor in February 2009. Her favorite aspect about working at Oxbow is getting to know each boy and then watching them grow and change as they progress through the program.
Teri is a single mother of one daughter who is 13 years old. They both love animals and
own dogs, a rabbit and several horses. Teri has lived her whole life in Utah and she loves
the peace and serenity that comes from living in the country. She likes to spend her free
time with her daughter, mostly riding horses and attending horse shows. She also enjoys
reading, camping and anytime spent with family and friends. Looking ahead, the one
dream that Teri would like to achieve is to finish raising her daughter to be a strong,
healthy and independent young woman.
